Welcome to our inaugural newsletter! We will be sending out quarterly company updates, training tips, client success stories, promotional offers, and more. Over the summer we certified over ten 10 agencies across our state territories. We have also added Pennsylvania, New York, and Maryland this year, bringing our territory up to 10 total state. These new agencies were the first to receive our updated Initial Instructor Certification. This certification is improving upon our former system by introducing an additional four hours of instruction centered around hands-on defensive tactics. In August, we had the opportunity to meet with Congressman, Andy Barr, at our headquarters in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Barr represents one of the largest congressional districts in the state and has expressed interest in the CD3 Technology product line and the mission of Compliant Technologies: reducing officer and subject injury rates.

Movement Drill for G.L.O.V.E. Users

In each newsletter we will be including a training tip or drill recommendation to practice with our G.L.O.V.E.. Most of these drills or tips are expanded upon in our Agency Master Instructor course. You do not need the information from that course to practice these drills. However, some of these drills may be better understood with the context of the entire AMI course. These drills can be practiced with the End User or Basic Instructor certification and are meant to increase the familiarity with the device, not replace training sessions.

Interested in the Agency Master Instructor course? We still have available dates for the year.

October: 22nd-23rd | November: 19th-20th | December: 17th-18th

Read All About It

Compliant Technologies was featured in Police1 and Corrections1 several times in the last few months. These articles focus on the technology behind our devices and client success stories. “He notes the G.L.O.V.E. has helped reduce instances of injuries for both inmates and his staff and limits the risks associated with physical altercations. In many cases, officers don’t even need to use the G.L.O.V.E. with a resistant inmate – the sheer possibility of it being used is enough for an individual to comply." a quote from the Corrections1 article featuring an interview with Captain Ronnie Partlow, jail administrator at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in Tupelo, Mississippi.

This Police1 article focuses on the technology behind the G.L.O.V.E. and why it has proven so successful in the law enforcement world. Read the full article.

This Corrections1 article features an interview with a correctional facility that integrated the G.L.O.V.E. into their facility and has experienced incredible benefits. Read the full article.

Prepared for Any Call That Comes Through the Radio

We don't just supply less-lethal tools for compliance management, we supply life saving tools for emergencies. Police officers may be the first on the scene of an infant choking. Correctional officers are often trained as medical first responders in their facilities due to lack of funds or staffing. No matter where officers are serving, we have the tools to help them respond confidently.

The LifeVac anti-choking device has saved thousands of lives and is rapidly becoming popular among civilians and first responders. Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are the only device that can help re-start a heart after cardiac arrest. Our trauma bleeding control kits have the necessary items to help stop rapid blood loss from a gunshot, stabbing, car accident injury, and more types of wounds officers see on their shifts.

See Our EMS products here

When responding to these emergencies, officers will need the best protection on the market. Eagle Protect Nitrile gloves provide the strongest barrier between the user and blood-borne pathogens, dangerous chemical substances, and other viruses and bacteria, without restricting hand movement or sacrificing tactile sensitivity. These gloves allow officers to navigate the body of a subject safely to search or administer medical aid, and search homes or cars with peace of mind. Cheap, disposable gloves can compromise evidence or expose officers to potentially lethal substances, whether they are chemical or bodily fluids.
